Dakgalbi(Top) is spicy stir-fried chicken. This is a popular Korean dish made by stir-frying marinated chicken in a gochujang-based sauce. One type of cooking is cooking on the iron plate with sweet potatoes, cabbage, perilla leaves, spring onions, DDeok-Bbok-Gi, and other ingredients.
Another type of cooking is grilled over the charcoal fire. In this case sauce is similar but different vegetables are served separately so that you can enjoy Ssam. Ssam is kind of wrapping cooked chicken with lettuce.
The first method is more common in our destination.
Makguksu(Lower left) is also local specialty of Chuncheon city. It is buckwheat noodle served with vinegar, sugar, mustard. It is served with broth or sometimes Donchimi (Radish Water Kimch).
