In this tour, you will see the most famous mountain in South Korea, Mt. Seorak and most famous Drama filming location Nami island. 

Enjoy Mountain and East Sea Together. It is really worth to visit one of mountains in South Korea, because 70% of Korean peninsula is mountain or mountainous. There are lots of beautiful mountains e.g. Mt. Seorak, Mt. Jiri, Mt. Naejang, Mt. Halla, Mt. Taebaek, Mt. Gyeobang, etc. Mt. Seorak is the most popular mountain among them. 

There are many beautiful places near by the mountain, so we can visit Buddhist temple, beach, port and taste sea food if you like seafood. Cable car to the Geongeumseong fortress doesn't operate due to weather conditions or maintenance, sometimes. 

After tour of Mt. Seorak you be transferred to Nami island and you can enjoy the most famous K-drama filming location of Winter Sonata. 

Our guide will meet pick you up in the lobby (on the 1st floor of your hotel if lobby is not on the first floor) of your hotel in Soul according to a schedule we will confirm and drive about three hours to Sokcho city where the Mt. Seorak is located. And show you around Mt. Seorak, Sinheungsa and transfer to the Nami island.    


After the tour, you will be transferred back to your hotel or agreed place.

​Mt. Seorak - Gwongeumseong Fortress

There are very popular mountains in South Korea, those are Mt. Seorak, Halla, Jiri, Bukhan, Taebaek, Naejang and Gyebang, etc.


Among them, Mt. Seorak as national park is the most popular mountain which is located in the east coast from Seoul. The total area is 398,539㎢ and Over 2,000 animal species live in 1,708 meters high mountain. The mountain has beautiful scenery in every season. Flowers in Spring, Green plant and trees in Summer, Colorful  autumn foliage in Autumn and beautiful snow-covered peaks of the mountain. 

Sinheungsa Buddhist Temple 

Historical accounts of Sinheungsa temple vary as to whether this ancient Zen Buddhism temple was first constructed by Jajang in 653, first called Hyangseongsa (Temple of Zen Buddhism), or in 637 following his return from Tang China. It burned to the ground in 699, was rebuilt in 710, burned again in 1645 and was rebuilt in 1648 at its present location by Uisang. This temple is believed to be the oldest Zen Buddhism temple in the world. 


There is 108 ton gilt-bronze Buddha statue, called "Tongil Daebul", sits atop a 4.3-meter high pedestal, of the same material, making the total height 18.9-meter excluding the lightning rod and nimbus.

Nami island

Nami isalnd is very famous for filming location of Korean soap opera (K-drama) 'Winter Sonata'. Even though it was more than ten years ago, the Nami island is catching endless fashion, because the island is changing attractions bit by bit and has four seasons beauty. Fore example green trees and plants in spring and summer, colorful autumn leaves in fall, snow in winter.
