Hanok is Korean traditional house. There are some Hanok village e.g. Namsangol Hanok Village, Bukchon Hanok Village, Jeonju Hanok Village, Gyodong Hanok Village, Hahoe Village, Yangdong Village.
Among them this Jeonju Hanok Village is special in southwestern part Korean peninsula. From the Omokdae you can see the hundreds of roofs those are look like surf in the ocean. It is also nice pleasure to sleep in a traditional Hanok which you can feel more Korean culture. There are some street food in this Hanok Village like hand made Choco Pie. Shrine of the founder of Joseon dynasty (1392 - 1910 CE), Lee Seong Gyeo.
There are rail bike nearby the Hanok Village. So it became more dynamic to experience activity near by the Hanok Village.
Makgeolri is made of rice or wheat flower. The Makgeolri in southwestern part of Korean peninsula is made from wheat flower (The other Makdeolri in southeastern Korean peninsula is made from rice).
Bibimbap is a bowl of rice with vegetables and fried egg. It is one of the must-try food while you traveling in Korea.
